2.4.7. KDE einrichten
Wenn sich öfter mal ein System neu einrichten, dann werden sicherlich bald merken, dass sich das Einrichten
der Umgebung optimieren lässt. Das Problem: Bei jedem neuen System müssen Sie immer wieder von vorn mit der
Konfiguration anfangen. Jedes mal hangeln Sie sich durch Menüs, suchen umständlich nach bestimmten
Einstellmöglichkeiten und Sie werden vom System ständig gefragt, wie Sie Ihre Einstellungen gern hätten.
Aber eigentlich wollen Sie nicht jedes mal von vorn suchen und die gleichen Entscheidungen immer und immer
wieder treffen. Sie haben sich auf eine Konfiguration festgelegt und die wollen Sie möglichst schnell wieder
haben.
Die Lösung: Schreiben Sie sich Ihre Einstellungen checklistenartig auf und arbeiten Sie sie beim Einrichten
eines neuen Systems einfach der Reihe nach ab.
2.4.7.1. Checkliste KDE einrichten
Im Folgenden Sehen Sie ein Beispiel, wie eine solche Checkliste aussehen kann. Die unten dokumentierten
Einstellungen richten sich nach meinem ganz persönlichen Geschmack. Sie können diese Liste übernehmen und

2.4.7.2. Umgebungsvariablen
"bin"-Verzeichnis des HOME-Verzeichnisses in den PATH setzen:
Datei ~/.bashrc editieren. Folgenden Aufruf einfügen:

export PATH=$PATH:$HOME/bin
fi
Erklärung: Mit jedem Aufruf von BASH wird die ".bashrc" ausgeführt. Um zu vermeiden, dass das
"bin"-Verzeichnis mit jedem BASH-Aufruf erneut an den PATH angehängt wird, wird mit der Umgebungsvariable
${UNIQUE_CALL} getestet, ob das "bin"-Verzeichnis bereits vorher einmal angehängt wurde.
